Haunted Bruges Ghost Tours
Bruges is beautiful. Its history isn’t.
Behind the postcard-perfect canals and medieval façades of Bruges lies a much darker history. Plague swept through its streets. Accused witches faced trial and execution. A local count was murdered while kneeling in prayer. Public executions drew crowds. And centuries later, some of the city's strangest legends still refuse to disappear.
Haunted Bruges brings those stories back to life in the streets where they happened.
👻 Dark History – When the Black Death swept across Europe, it killed somewhere between a third and over half the population. In some communities, the sheer number of dead overwhelmed the normal rituals of burial. Discover what plague and other dark chapters of history meant for medieval Bruges and why some think its past still haunts the streets today.
